Attacking Non-UH liberalism 'Liberals salivating over alleged US involved Iraqi Killings' (Will try to compare to Vietnam's My Lai Massacre)

When liberals woke today they woke to joyful headlines of allegations that US Marines had massacred unarmed Iraqi civilians in the western city of Haditha late last year.

Rep. John Murtha, a liberal who hates the military, said "Marines shot and killed unarmed civilians in a taxi at the scene and went into two homes and shot others." Murtha, who is not a Marine, said this with the anticipation that it will bring back the memories of the My Lai Massacre, which was a massacre committed by U.S. soldiers in Vietnam on March 16, 1968. My Lai reduced support for Vietnam and gave the liberals of the 1960s an American military lose which they so craved back then.

No, if the liberal Iraq massacre holds true they will be out in force during the summer comparing My Lai to Haditha. Liberals don't really care who was killed, or who really did it, they just care that Americans are being blamed.

Even if the killings are deemed unprovoked, then they will be dealt with. The libs will help al-Qaeda with their news reports and outrage, and of course the United States. Liberals do not praise the troops, that can be felt in liberal speeches about the troops as compared to anti-Bush statements. The libs are not pro-military, never have been.

The Marine investigation is expected to be completed some time in June to see if the UCMJ was violated.

Screw the libs!

"Rep. John Murtha, a liberal who hates the military"
"Murtha, who is not a Marine, said this with the anticipation that it will bring back the memories of the My Lai Massacre"

What are you basing this on? The man was too a marine. Rumsfeld, Bush, Cheney, etc on the other hand...

"My Lai reduced support for Vietnam and gave the liberals of the 1960s an American military lose which they so craved back then."

Um, the war in Vietnam was already quite screwy before My Lai. The military was already "losing" (as if they weren't fighting a basically unwinnable war in the first place) way before the soldiers at My Lai came to the country. The book "Four Hours in My Lai" covers this very thoroughly.

"The libs are not pro-military, never have been." (!!)

What about LBJ and JFK? They both were quite unhesitent to invoke the military to further their war effort; aren't these guys pretty arch-typical "liberals?" What about Wilson in WWI or FDR in WWII? Help me, I am so confused...

When My Lai was exposed in 1969, Vietnam was already winding down.

There is a double standard here that is not being exposed. When al-Qaeda takes school kids and kill them indiscriminantly, they are given a free pass by the liberal media and the arab world.

Only liberals and bent people would see alleged US military atrocities and call foul, and not harp on the enemy of daily exploding IEDs and killing kids.

The latest so-called US atrocities may or may not have happened, that is still being investigated, but we will not cut and run like pansy liberals want to do over these incidents.

America has to stand behind her armed forces. If not, we fall. Liberals want that, so they can be the savior. Fuck that. Liberals couldn't run a dog catchers office efficiently.

Well, the neo-con in office sure hasn't done a bang up job.

Do you honestly believe the President, his staff and Congress have been efficient?

If not, it must be the liberals fault.

I can't wait until the elections.

Where's my steak asshole?
