Attacking Non-UH liberalism 'The Austin Student Newspaper' (A paper even worse than the UH Daily Cougar)

I visit relatives in Austin several times each year and I always make it a habit to always stop in at the LBJ Library on the UT campus in downtown Austin. The exhibit floor is always changing, and once in a while they have some very interesting exhibits.

On my way out of the LBJ I always pick up the latest copy of the Daily Texan, and this time they had another student newspaper, the Austin Student, which started publication last year, but this was the first time I had seen the tripe.

The Austin Student, which can also be known as the "Austin Student Socialist," as far as their December 15th issue is concerned, is a contraption put together by two former Daily Texan workers who started the paper following flaps they had with Daily Texan officials, and so the "Austin Student Socialist" was born.

One of the December 15th editorial pieces caught my attention, Austin Student Socialist writer Carrie Weidner, who is not affliated with any local Austin school really let her socialist tendencies fly with her tripe "The untold truth about healthcare: a nationalized system is the key." The only problem was that there was little if any truth to be found in her tripe.

Weidner's main beef, was that "the corporations that the run hospitals are out to make a profit." In fact, any organization that makes a "profit" is on her hit list. She doesn't see that the bottom line is important when it comes to surviving in business. In her book all businesses are bad, and all patients, especially those who are poor and without health insurance are obligated to be served by hospitals no matter the losses incurred by business.

And of course, the big solution to the problem: a nationalized healthcare system, which is the very social thing to do. Weidner is bent like her other liberal colleagues across the country. A national health care system would be the worst thing possible for health care industry in the United States. All you have to do is look to Canada or Europe and see the problems they have there and then you would see the problem.

Liberals like Carrie Weidner are extremely gullible people who refuse to see the actual conditions that are affecting hospitals today. She refuses to see that emergency rooms are being shut down because they are being overrun with non-emergency events. Weidner refuses to see that birthing facilities are closing their doors due to increasing insurance rates and litigation, while more and more doctors are refusing to treat pregnant women and the elderly for the same reason.

Weidner does not see that government is the reason that hospital bills are so high. She instead complains that her Mother, "a single parent with two kids and her master's degree in nursing, has worked for the same hospital for more than 15 years. Yet she still lives paycheck to paycheck," that right there speaks volumes of the Weidner family.

Weidner's idea of a nationalized healthcare system that "would pay its employees well, from the doctors to the nurses to the housekeepers." The whole idea is not to help the poor people of the United States, yet in Carrie Weidner's mind, nationalized healthcare would pay her Mother more money.

I doubt that Weidner or her sibling have ever had a real job that contributed to her family. Then there is her Mother who has worked 15 years in the same job, working "paycheck to paycheck" as Weidner pleas. Is the woman so bad in her job that she has never got a raise, or never made an attempt to save a buck while her children have continually drained her of resources that would have let her have a bigger stake in life.

If only Carrie Weidner would have been aborted, her Mother wouldn't have been that drained of her life's resources and Carrie's tripe wouldn't have made the Austin Student Socialist.

So theoretically if we get national healthcare how will we pay for it? Weidner says "taxes must be raised." Well hell, tax us unto death why don't you Carrie. To liberals, if government is not involved in your life every minute of the day, something is wrong.

After all, "America isn't getting any healthier," says the greedy Weidner, who wants her Mother to get a big raise to support her worthless ass. You see, everyone wants drugs from Canada, but where are those drugs made -- the US. If companies are not making profits then they are not going to be able to stay in business.

One example is when the Clinton Administration forced out flu vaccine makers by trying to give away all flu vaccines, thus taking the profit out of the business. Most vaccine makers left the US and when the vaccine problem hit last year, non of that tripe hit the mainstream media.

Carrie Weidner doesn't know what she is talking about when it comes to healthcare. All she knows is that her Mother is poor and its "mean evil Republicans" who are paying her Mother just enough to pay rent on some fleatrap apartment with no money leftover to buy poor Carrie an iPod, and national healthcare would get her Mother more money so Carrie can finally get her cherished music player.

The only problem is that national healthcare would wreck the United States economy just for liberal egalitarianism. Well screw that. Carrie Weidner instead of depending on your Mother, why don't you go out and get a goddamn job so you can help support your Mother instead of like most liberals -- sponging off them and then society for eternity.

Screw the libs!

A Soldier's Christmas (Merry Christmas to Service Members and Veterans of the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, Coast Guard)

A Soldier's Christmas
z
'Twas the night before Christmas, he lived all alone,
In a one bedroom house made of plaster and stone.
z
I had come down the chimney with presents to give,
And had to see just who in this home did live.
z
I looked all about, a strange sight I did see,
No tinsel, No Presents, Not even a tree.
z
No stocking by the mantle, just boots full of sand.
On the wall hung pictures, of a distant land.
z
With Medals and Badges, Awards of all kinds,
A sober thought, came to mind.
z
For this house was different, it was dark and dreary,
I found the home of a Soldier, Once I could see clearly.
z
The Soldier lay sleeping, silent, alone,
Curled up on the floor, In his one bedroom home.
z
The face was so gentle, The room in such disorder,
Not how I pictured, A United States Soldier.
z
Was this the hero of whom I'd just read?
Curled up on a poncho, The floor for a bed?
z
I realized the families that I saw this night,
Owed their lives to these Soldiers, who where willing to fight.
z
Soon around the world, children would play,
And grownups would celebrate, a bright Christmas day.
z
They enjoyed Freedom, each month of the year,
Because of these Soldiers, like the one lying here.
z
I couldn't help wonder, how many lay alone,
On a cold Christmas Eve, In a land Far from home.
z
The very thought, brought a tear to my eye.
I dropped to my knees and started to cry.
z
The Soldier awakened, and I heard a rough voice,
"Santa don't cry, this life is my choice;
I fight for Freedom, I don't ask for more,
My life is my God, My Country, My Corps."
z
The Soldier rolled over, and soon drifted to sleep.
I couldn't control it, I continued to weep.
z
I kept watch for hours, So silent and still
And we both shivered from the cold night's chill.
z
I didn't want to leave on that cold, dark night,
This Guardian of Honor, so willing to fight.
z
Then the Soldier rolled over, with a voice soft and pure,
Whispered, "Carry on Santa. It's Christmas Day, All is Secure."
z
One look at my watch, and I knew he was right.
z
Merry Christmas my friend, And to all a good night.

A Few Random Thoughts - XXVIII

- Look at this years winter holiday greeting sent out by Katy McFall, Director of Annual Giving. She is so afraid that somebody might be offended, that if the damn picture didn't have Happy Holidays on it, you wouldn't have known it was Christmas related.

- Merry Nondescript Secular Winter Holiday to all liberal America hating and al-Qaeda loving citizens.

- Despite the liberal democrats best efforts, 122 countries are now experiencing more political and religious freedom. In addition, human rights are increasing around the world. (Liberals cannot run on this because of their actions on Iraq)..

- Houston's murder rate has shot up 23 percent since Hurricane Katrina, but I'm not afraid since I always have on finger on the trigger.

- God Bless our troops in harms way -- I know how you feel being far away in a combat zone on Christmas.

- Merry Christmas to all America loving Conservative citizens.

Merry CHRISTmas!!

I'm about to head out of town. Have a blessed and Merry Christmas from my family and I to you.

UH Daily Cougar First Breaking News of the 2005 Nondescript Secular Winter Holiday

For Zachary James Lee's first outing as the new UH Daily Cougar Editor in Chief I was expecting more, but right off the bat we get a recycled front page photo of the Galleria from last years December 22nd issue, which was a take off of the front page breaking news from December 18, 2002, which was a take off the front page break news from December 20, 2000.

We can only hope that Lee doesn't take the flight of former UH student Ryan Hartley, falling flat on his face for his biting off more than he can chew. One can detect that Lee's leadership style will be one of delegation rather than the autocratic ruler that former UH Daily Cougar Editor in Chief Matt Dulin exhibited during his reign.

Of course this is Lee's first time at the helm and he needs some deck time to get the hang of things, but if Lee continues to throws things out there like todays editorial cartoon about ANWR drilling submitted by UH lead physical plant plumber John H Palamidy we might run into a problem.

I don't know what Palamidy is up to with his tripe today giving the impression that oil drilling in ANWR will be a disaster for wildlife, but I can tell you that drilling for oil in Alaska will be a great deal cleaner that the crap he has to deal with day in and day out as a plumber.

Do you think that oil companies want their product lying on the ground at todays prices? I'm sorry John I'm not buying your tripe. Did you know that the first Alaska pipeline was a boom for the local Caribou population due to the heat given off from the pipeline?

Any drilling, which if approved by the Senate, will not benefit us for at least ten years, but the decision must be made now so that companies can start moving. Liberals will definitely get the blame if ANWR drilling does not take place. They will also get the blame if gas prices do not continue to go down. Two dollar gas, like three dollar gas, can sustain itself for only a certain amount of time before certain aspects of the economy begin to suffer. (i.e. - entertainment, luxury items).

The liberals only alternative to fossil fuels is hybrid electric cars, and like the soon to be George Clooney flop Syriana, hybrids will nothing more than a moneypit for their unsuspecting liberal owners. Not only will libs shell out an extra three plus grand to purchase a piece of crap which they will never make up in gas, when the car gets old and needs a new fuel cell it will cost another eight to ten grand to replace that.

Guess what? Nobody is talking disposal of fuel cells, and what nightmares millions of fuel cells can cause in the future. Fuel cells are not perfect and until that little reformer, or fuel cell processor problem is worked out, the batteries are not going to be as efficient as they can be.

Mark my words, this hybrid attempt will fail just like it did in the late '70s. The market, not government, will determine the need for a change from fossil to alternative fuels. Government efforts to force alternative fuels is like a child being told to kiss his nasty-mouthed Aunt by his Mother's orders.

And in the Senate today, it is there chance to really make a change to bring a change in America's oil dependence. Don't look for them to come through thanks to the libs!

Screw the libs!

Attacking Non-UH liberalism 'Liberal Press Gives Clinton Pass on Domestic Eavesdropping in '90s' (Where was the liberal press last week on that?)

Newsmax is surfacing several interesting news stories that the liberal mainstream press won't touch.

Guess what -- President Clinton authorized domestic eavesdropping on US calls and we weren't even at war. On top of that Clinton even ordered economic spying on foreign companies operating in the US. Remember Carnavore.

Of course we won't hear about this in the liberal press due to the fact that when liberals do wrong it is simply 'not reported' in the liberal mainstream press.

But let it be reported that a Republican President authorizes domestic eavesdropping on only suspected international calls that deal with national security issues and all hell breaks loose.

Despite this information being reported of events that took place even before President Bush took office the liberal mainstream press will most likely deny this since their tainted history did not start until President Bush took office.

Liberal reporters who reported the leak on "W" should be jailed. The leakers should be jailed. They need to know that we are at war and this is not a game. The offenses they committed should be punishable by death.

I'm tired of liberals thinking they run the country. I'm tired of the mainstream meeting giving the impression that the liberals are in charge. No wonder Congresses poll numbers are less than half of "W's" poll numbers.

By the way, Happy Clinton Impeachment Day.

Attacking Non-UH liberalism 'Another Reason Why The Houston Chronicle is Losing Circulation' (Dishonest Front Page Writing)

Looking at this Houston Chronicle front page photo today you might get the impression that there are hundreds of people at some liberal rally organized by Planned Parenthood.

But guess what.

It was all a shame, and the Chronicle admitted the true numbers that they appeased despite the vast numbers in our area that believe the opposite.

This is just another example why I and thankfully most Houston area souls don't subscribe to the Houston Chronicle.

Screw the libs!

Attacking Non-UH liberalism 'Is it time to just start killing liberals?' (Liberals leak NSA info in attempt to smear 'W' and gain politically)

I admit it, I'm know perfect boy scout. My military career was not all roses and at times bad people simply -- had to die. I have no regrets about my service, and my men and I are still alive even though some came back injured and some later suffered with cancer, myself included on both accounts.

I was especially pissed this weekend when I heard about some liberal leaking the NSA's domestic eavesdropping operation which in a time of war has to be more than justified.

But liberals, with their egalitarian attitude that puts the least al-Qaeda operative on the same par as the American soldier, are on a daily basis endangering American citizens more and more. Now with the liberals publishing of this NSA information, al-Qaeda operatives that were operating in the US now have to know that their conversations are being listened to more than ever. Those operatives will now take actions that will make them less detectable to NSA personnel. Thank you very much liberals.

I ask, who's side are you on liberals? If liberals answer -- the side of truth, they are lining themselves up with al-Qaeda. The "truth" answer in the liberals mind is just a ruse. Our nation has to keep its secrets. If not we lose, and that fits right into the plans for the liberals. Well, I'm fed up.

When I first heard the NSA story break, I immediately thought of my high-powered rifle, aiming it at an influential liberal, and pulling trigger. I know that is not the nice Conservative way to think, but what else am I suppose to do. The liberals have a lock on certain aspects of the media, and they are being paid off to publish BAD press AGAINST the United States.

I'm slowly getting to the point of calling for an outright open season on liberals. Especially those liberals who openly support the enemy in their words and actions. It is completely crazy that in wartime that someone can diviluge national secrets that both liberals and Conservatives knew, and then try to blame the President for the whole thing. Liberals knew this secret and they let the secret slip for pure political gain. I was glad to see that the President fighting back and with a viciousness to show his sincerity.

Domestic eavesdropping does save lives. You won't read about it in the Chronicle and I can't say much here, but attacks on hard targets in our area have been averted due to electronic surveillance. It works, and we can't stop it now just because some liberals think our civil rights are being taken away.

I sincerely believe that the NSA is not taking away our rights, I don't feel threatened. The NSA doesn't have enough equipment to monitor everyones call, but they do have enough to hone in on special calls for special words that are spoken that can possibly give away al-Qaeda cells operating in the United States. To think other is nonsense.

Have you noticed that the liberal press fights successful Presidential news, such as the elections in Iraq, with attempted stories that try and douse the enthusiasm of Presidential success, such as with "Tookie" Williams, Arnold and his hometown in Austria, and falling Presidential poll numbers. The liberals tactics are predictable and show their lack of ability to fight with common sense.

This war we are in is like no other war we have ever fought, and with continued liberal helping of the enemy, such as the NSA story, I'm predicting that in the future that influential liberals will be shot to death by patriotic Americans who love America, not necessarily Conservatives, but those who are sick and tired of having to fight two wars -- one in the Persian Gulf area, and the war in the liberal media and by liberals in America that help al-Qaeda with their words and actions.

I suppress my thoughts of course and vent with this blog, but someone out there perhaps who has served in Afghanistan or Iraq or is a heavy supporter of the military; someone who is steaming inside after what he read or saw in the news today. Someone who is pissed at those who believe that America is always wrong and France and Germany are always right.

No one knows who will fire the first shot at an Al Franken or a JFK, Jr. or some other influential liberal who believes that everything is wrong with America. Once a couple of caps are popped at liberals, they'd better learn to "shut the fuck up" or take their lives in their hands when the degrade America in wartime.

Liberalism can only go so far in wartime before Americans consider them totally aligned with al-Qaeda. The libs as far as I am concerned passed that point long ago.

McCain with his "al-Qaeda Bill of Rights" which gives unprecedented protections to enemy combatants is completely crazy. Has anyone heard of the Geneva Convention? That anyone found out of uniform can be shot as a spy. As far as I'm concerned those people should not even be alived much less be provided with a God Damned quran, three-squares a day, and better living quarters than America's homeless.

Who gives a damn if McCain was tortured in Vietnam, that fact alone should have excused him from being involved in that legislation by the "conflict of interest" aspect alone.

Just what are we supposed to do get information out of prisoners -- tickle 'em? Or better yet, play boring John Kerry and Ted Kennedy speeches over and over again? But even that would be considered 'cruel and unusual punishment' according to liberals.

I'm a patriot. I've got "parts missing" due to my service to my country with no regrets whatsoever. I know that our military represents less than one-percent of our countries population, and liberals have become desensitized to our militaries existence and can be easily brainwashed into believing the US military is nothing but an oppressor, which is absolutely ridiculous.

I feel no love in my heart for liberals who look at America and see the 'bad guy'. Liberals, as Rush Limbaugh has stated recently, "are invested in our defeat," and would rather see America lose rather than George Bush and America win. That's how much hate liberals possess for anything American, and its time that liberals have that hate turned back on them.

I'm not advocating that Americans start popping caps in influential liberals left and right. I'd prefer to continue fighting liberals with our pocketbooks, such as not watching liberal movies, not buying liberal newspapers and products, but the time will come that further steps will be taken.

I cannot say that I dread the day when liberals with their irresponsible choice of words and actions will pay with their blood. Its coming. Rush Limbaugh recently asked liberals to actually "think about America for only five seconds" instead of being selffish about their politics. I think he's seeing it too and is trying to stop the inevitable.

People, we are practically giving aid and comfort to the enemy with all this liberal talk, all this talk of "al-Qaeda Bill of Rights," lessening the power of the Patriot Act, and being soft on the borders.

Is it time to just start killing liberals for appeasing al-Qaeda? I can't answer that question. It's for the liberals to answer themselves by their continued choice of words and actions. I'm betting that the libs will not let up and the day will come when some patriot is pissed off enough and is inclined to take action to "save" America.

Screw the libs!

Attacking Non-UH liberalism 'Bad News for 'cut and run' Murtha Democrats' (Iraq has another successful election)

Liberals are so morally bankrupt that they have went from "Free South Africa" to "give the dictator back Iraq."

Yes, liberals fight for the spread of democracy, but only when it politically benefits them such as when Der Slick Meister was in office.

Today's election to form a permanent government in Iraq is literally a world changing event. We literally have Iraqi women wanting their daughters to marry Americans.

Iraq is today electing the only constitutional government in the Islamic world. Now that's a big deal. And liberals are so bitter and negative about undeniable signs of positive progress in Iraq.

Yes, is if it were up to liberals Saddam Hussein would still be defying UN Resolutions and he would still be in power. Today, the Iraqi people are free to make their own choices in elections instead of being forced to vote 99.7% for Saddam.

Attacking Non-UH liberalism 'Rush is back in Saddle;"W" continues attack against 'cut and run' liberals' (NOW enraged against over Alito)

I was glad to logon to Rush's website today and find out he was back -- evidently he was eating to many toxic liberals for lunch.

And of course the President continues to kick ass with his Iraq speeches. Way to go Mr. President!!!! Keep up your attacks against the liberal 'cut and runners'.

Even though it is a dreary day here in Texas -- we are bathed in sunshine. Thanks "W" and Rush.

Now on to people who look in the mirror each and experience self loathing and a genuine hate for their country - NOW. Since NOW loves aborting the democrats future base, they are even more obsessed with protecting their investment in stem cell research. That's where the real money is located.

Hence, we get crazy NOW campaigns such as "Engaged & Enraged: Women's Campaign to Defeat Alito," which just by its presentation alone is enough to turn off the most sane of persons.

Attacking Non-UH liberalism 'Another Reason Why The Houston Chronicle is Losing' (Dishonest Headline Writing)

Blog Houston and Lone Star Times hit upon a headline story about Tom DeLay from which the Houston Chronicle's Readers' Representative and a member of the Editorial Board James T. Campbell has received a lot of flak.

Of course the Chronicle made it look as bad as possible for DeLay by making it look like a full defeat for the Congressman when actually the headline should have told of the mixed rulings from his conspiracy and money laundering case.

Since Campbell received a lot of grief over the headline he wrote "Headlines: Sometimes the glass might be half full," which appeared in last Sunday's paper explaining that the headline was based only on the first paragraph and the headline writer did not feel it was biased.

Incredibly, Campbell acknowledged the Chronicle's Conservative Readership and others who are "Chronically biased," which I consider a win for Houston area Conservatives. I guess the the Chronicle is slowly recognizing the fact that they need Conservative readers to survive, and that fact should be a vital part of the Chronicle's strategy in the coming year.

With the growth of technology and its growing ease of use, old windbags such as the Chronicle will be dust in the wind if they continue to be selfish in their headline writing. On can only hope that the UH Daily Cougar does not send any personnel over the Chronicle or they will really be in trouble.

Attacking Non-UH liberalism 'Liberals Lie' (Tookie Dies)

Ahh its a great day. On a day when NY liberal Senator Chuck Schumer sends a letter to the President demanding to examine "failures" in Iraq, a great thing has happened -- the murderer "Tookie" Williams is going to finally be dealt justice that he did not afford his four victims whom he murdered in cold blood in February and March 1979.

Yes on a day when liberals want to surrender in the sight of victory in Iraq, their latest "Cindy Sheehan" Tookie die to-nite. It appears that the liberals have lost again, and will continue to lose until they can come up with a plan that is actually "good for America."

Look liberals, if you want to feel better about Tookie's death tonight don't look at as an execution. Instead look at Tookie's death as a post-term abortion, and you will be feeling better about yourselves. Because as of 12:01 am on the 13th Tookie will become dookie for the worm.

A Few Random Thoughts - XXVII

- Congressman Murtha's recent poll on his website calling for a withdrawal from Iraq had to be withdrawn, seeing as on 12% supported the move, while 88% supported staying the course.

- The Vietnam War was based on a lie, the War on Terror was not based on a lie.

- Ask not how the liberals are going to gain power. Ask how the liberals are going to hold on to their base.

- Liberals are worried about what's be reported in Iraqi newspapers, but they should really be worried about what's being reported in American newspapers -- the Tribune companies just laid off another 900 people.

Attacking Non-UH liberalism 'John Kerry Calls American Troops Terrorists' (Here are some examples of American Soldiers terrorizing Iraqi kids)

Senator John F. Kerry, the man who Thank God was not elected President last year, recently said on a non-watched Sunday show that "there is no reason, Bob, that young American soldiers need to be going into the homes of Iraqis in the dead of night, terrorizing kids and children."

Kerry, a man who lied his way out of Vietnam, only to come back to the US and stab his fellow soldiers in the back, should be run out of town along with the liberals that support his views.

I've served in combat in desert conditions and helped children just like those soldiers pictured. You get so heartbroken that you want to take them home with you, and it really hurts those in uniform when they find out that elected officials are stabbing them in the back during wartime.

I hope that out of all this liberal chaos there are "Reagan Democrats" being born. People are much more informed in this internet and cable era -- and the liberals playbook is still from the ABC, NBC, and CBS era, and true Americans have to be embarrassed at what they are seeing and hearing. Hence the Larry X's out there that are coming out of the Black and minority communities and embracing the Republican Party.

Attacking Non-UH liberalism 'What would liberals do if Pearl Harbor happened today?' (Democrats would embrace the Japanese of course)

If Pearl Harbor were to happen today the liberals would be clammering to "cut and run" from our bases in Hawaii, Guam, Wake, and the Philippines. Liberals would be clammering to make reservations at the nearest Benihana, and inquire about converting to Japanese Buddhism or Shintoism. All this in our to understand our enemy instead of killing the enemy.

Liberals don't care about the American people. They only care about getting back in power, and embracing the enemy is not the way to go about doing it.

Screw the libs!

UH Daily Cougar on Nondescript Secular Winter Holiday 'Exiting Editor in Chief Matt Dulin offers legacy of racism and hatred for Conservatives'

It's over. UH Daily Cougar Editor in Chief Matt Dulin is gone.

The man who did not take responsiblity for his actions in print media is gone. The man who banned Daily Cougar cartoonist Arturo Gonzalez' for his editorial cartoon of September 19th (the same as 9/16) racist cartoon but took no responsibility himself in the incident is gone.

The man who gave us a wide variety of UH liberals to spread the liberal plans for the downfall of society is gone. The man who gave us Giugi Carminati as the liberal gods gift to the University of Houston is gone.

Dulin in his tripe today "Editor ponders legacy at the end of his term," looks back at his so-called 'past triumphs' and is "handing the reins to Zach Lee, who will carry on the proud tradition that is The Daily Cougar." The paper can only improve.

Dulin is proud of what he "accomplished" as a "state of perfection" which should make us all gag. He patted himself on the back for the awards gained under his watch,
"including an impressive distinction from the Associated Collegiate Press." Man he really impresses himself.

Dulin is not a delagator, he admittedly skipped many classes, but graciously gives his admiration to those students on campus that "have it harder" than he does. Thank God for that.

Dulin was more than right when he wrote, "I don't know for sure if I did anything for the paper," and we can only hope that the new UH Daily Cougar Editor in Chief Zachary James Lee has a vision for the paper.

Lee has a chance to bring the UH Daily Cougar into the 21st Century. First, modernize the DC website. Second, PDF the paper, and cut the print edition in half. Third, offer an equal display of Conservative and liberal views -- not lob-sided to the left like your predecessor did.

Zach you have a chance to leave a true mark in the legacy of the Daily Cougar with the changes I have suggested. The only mark Matt Dulin will make during his administration in the communications building will be the last crap he takes in the office restroom later this week.

To ex-UH Daily Cougar Editor in Chief Matt Dulin I say, "So long, farewell, Auf wiedersehn, goodbye."

Screw the libs!

UH Daily Cougar Columnist David Salinas 'Damn the fetuses!' (Save the murderers ahead)

Don't you just love liberals. They embrace death, but only on the smallest of scales -- an occassional protest against someone being put to death, protesting to allow Terri Schaivo to be put to death, as well as observing the small death toll in the War on Terror when a milestone is achieved. Respectively all small events of death that have little impact on our everyday lives, but they try and make the biggest molehills out of their tripe.

But when we have death on a large scale, such as 1.5 million abortions per year or 50,000 auto fatalities, liberals are immune to that jolt. And no liberal stink is raised in that respect.

Liberals, especially Hollywood leftists, always try to politicize death. AIDS is out, so the death fashion of the moment is American soldiers in the War on Terror, and coupled with deathrow inmates, the liberals support al-Qaeda in their quest to kill American soldiers, and they support deathrow murderers who have knowingly taken life. Any well publicized death that gives the liberals power is a death they support, even if it means supporting America's enemies.

Today UH Daily Cougar columnist David Salinas takes on the cause of those who have taken human life. Hell, next thing you know he'll be supporting the cause Saddam Hussein because when you look down on it, there is little difference between a what Saddam did and what death row inmates did. It all makes for a great liberal cause, and former LBJ Attorney General Ramsey Clark has already taken up Saddam's sword of defense.

In his tripe today "Ultimate penalty is wielded unwisely," Salinas stands up for Stanley "Tookie" Williams, one of the founding members of the Crips, who was convicted of popping caps and killing at least four people in robberies in 1979. But who knows how many murders did Tookie take out in the 10 years he was a Crip leader?

Tookie is due to be waisted (executed) on December 13th, and Hollywood liberals are making their play to Arnold to save the Crip, and liberals like Salinas are sucking it up as if he were on bended knees waiting his place in line to service President Clinton.

Salinas loaths the death penalty. Like John Kerry, David is no patriot. The liberals are not pro-American, and their actions are cheered by our enemies.

The liberals assault on the criminal justice system is designed to dumb down America. Liberals are more apt to commit crimes which takes away from their voting base, and explains the liberals efforts to make voting by convicted criminals an acceptable practice.

Salinas notes that Tookie has made efforts to correct his crimes "by writing children's books and recording speeches to be played at gang peace summits," but Tookie of all people should know that to do his part (to make it right) his sentence must be carried out.

I don't care about the "celebrities fighting for the life of Williams, such as actors Jamie Foxx and Mike Farrell," who are several more Hollywood liberals to add to my list non-support list.

In the liberals fight for these thugs who have taken human life without even thinking, Salinas never offers any compassion for the victims of Tookie or any other convicted deathrow inmate. The liberals can never offer compassion or recognize the victims of deathrow inmates such as Tookie because it would show them for the frauds they truly are.

Salinas "main problem" with the death penalty is its permanence. He argues that "awarding convicted murderers for their ability to bounce back" is good but is taken away when they are executed. Excuse me David Salinas, what about the good the murder victims never had a chance to do, and with Tookie's case, their were four chances for good to happen, yet you stupid Salinas don't have the balls to bring that up.

Incredibly, David says we are "too lenient with criminals." Evidently he is an authority on criminals -- his "father has worked for the Texas Department of Criminal Justice for almost two decades and has seen maximum and minimum security prisons all over this state." So Salinas knows criminals.

Salinas argues "it's ridiculous that prisoners -- some having committed heinous crimes -- are allowed to watch television, lift weights or buy confectionery items at prison stores." He wants the crimes locked up for life, and does not feel the death penalty is proper because its "permanent and does not take into account the error of human beings." What? Again no concern for the victims.

I wouldn't be surprised if David sees murder as nothing more than a 'post-term abortion' which gives him reason to embrace the murderer. In his warped mind, he sees that no wrong has committed. Liberals abort 4,000 fetuses a day and no one raises questions about that, so why should liberals get upset at a murderer who takes out four innocent people who missed out on their contributions to society.

Salinas blames society if an innocent person is put to death. That's not societies problem -- that blame is placed on the jury that convicted the guy, not me. I ask the question -- how can we sleep at night when we kill 4,000 fetuses a day? You have to admit the liberals have been successful in that campaign to dehumanize future babies.

I'm not falling for Salinas' reasoning to 'forgive' deathrow inmates. I know that some innocent people are executed, but that's a risk we must all take to ensure we have a safe society. We don't stop what we are doing because it may go wrong in some form or fashion. Nothing would ever get done.

With all this waste of trees that David displayed today, let us see how Salinas feels when a low life takes out his Father or better yet his future gay lover. He'll be taking a 180 right quick.

- The liberal media if failing to make Americans continually feel like crap.

- Unemployment remains unchanged and is lower than it was during the Clinton Administration.

- Their is good news coming out of Iraq, and they are about to truly determine their own future.

- Howard Dean is still the chairman of the democratic party.

- Liberals are getting pissed at 'good news' being so-called "bought" in Iraq. While the left plants stories in NPR, CNN, and all other liberal media.

UH Daily Cougar Printing Press on the Blink 'Time for a PDF Version of the Paper to be made available On-line'

For the second day in a row, the printing of the UH Daily Cougar has been a problem, and it is time to make a change. I've written on other occassions about posting PDF versions of the paper on-line, and at least cutting the printed version of the paper in half.

At least with a PDF version of the Daily Cougar readers can still get the look and feel of the paper when the presses are down, without having to miss the content that the paper provides.

One can tell that with the printing mishaps as of late, that the equipment at the paper's printing press is getting old, and the cost for replacement presses has to be out of the question.

As I have noted before, other college newspapers in Texas have went to PDF as an option, most notably UT, and even HCC. Honestly, the Daily Cougar online is in desperate need of an intervention to breath new life into the tripe.

I just hope that someone at the Daily Cougar has enough balls to make a lasting and legacy enhancing decision to better the paper.
