Attacking Non-UH liberalism 'Jean Schmidt takes 2nd Ohio race'

The results I were monitoring all evening came through around 10pm to-nite. What liberals were counting on as a comeback for the liberal cause with a win in the Ohio 2nd District for the US House turned to disaster. Air America Radio will certainly be disappointed since they have been pushing the effort all day.

Liberal Paul Hackett, an Iraq veteran, ran as a supporter of President Bush, but behind the scenes Hackett loathes the President and his policies. Republican Jean Schmidt, didn't have to fool the voters to get elected like Hackett had to do, and Schmidt took the race 52% to 48%. To bad for John F. Kerry, Jr.

This is the second liberal in a year that has run unsuccessfully for office appearing to be pro-war, pro-gun, and full of hot air. Liberals have to be somebody else when it comes to campaigns -- that's why you will never see an anti-war, anti-gun, pro-tax increase candidate, because they will never be elected.

The liberals today called a Hackett win a "bellwether" for the 2006 elections. Turns out its going to be a "boondoggle."

I take schadenfreude in Paul Hackett's loss to Congressman-elect Schmidt, the next congressional representative from the 2nd District of Ohio. Yes Hackett volunteered for service in Iraq, but his intentions, like those of Kerry were selffish, and he paid the price to-nite.

Screw the libs!
